Overall, children safeguarding boards play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and responsive school environment.

Autumn 2024 Update:-
10/10/24 With it being the autumn term, and the nights drawing in, our Safety Guardians felt it was important to have the police in to teach the children all about Road Safety. A big thank you to our local PCOs who held a very informative assembly and showed their vehicles too ( even with the sirens). They also left us with the task of creating road safety posters as part of a competition to win lots of road safety goodies.
05/11/24 Remember Remember the 5th of November! Our Safety Guardians job is to ensure that they organise talks and events throughout they to educate our children on how to keep themselves and others safe. This week they have organised a Fire Safety talk from local Fireman Andrew to talk to our children about how to keep safe around fire and what to do in an emergency. Thank you so much Shropshire fires service!
13/11/24 Today the school held its annual Safer Schools meeting. The Safer School initiative is a school security initiative that encompasses personal safety. It was created by West Mercia Police and wi th the support of Shropshire Council, virtually all Shropshire schools are following the process. Such a positive meeting on security and safety. From the parent/carer and pupil surveys, there were many lovely comments. As a result, our Safer Schools certificate has been updated and a review meeting is scheduled for next year.
