🐾 Sir John Talbot’s School Dog Show – supporting Bradbury Care Centre! 🐾
We are excited to invite our community to a brand new event on Saturday 13th June, 11am–2pm at Sir John Talbot’s School.
Bring your four legged friends along for a fun and friendly dog show in support of the wonderful Bradbury Care Centre. With light hearted classes including Cutest Puppy, Waggiest Tail, Best Fancy Dress and Best in Show, there is something for every pup 🐶
There will also be dog themed stalls, tasty food and drink, a raffle, plus plenty of treats and accessories for your dogs.
Classes cost £4 each or 3 classes for £10 and you can sign up on the day.
With light hearted classes including:
• Cutest Puppy
• Most Handsome Dog
• Prettiest Girl
• Golden Oldie
• Best Junior Handler
• Waggiest Tail
• Best Trick
• Best Fancy Dress
• Dog the Judges Would Most Like to Take Home
• Best in Show

We were so lucky to welcome Isla’s dad and some beautiful lambs from his farm to Tilstock Primary School 🐑
The children had a wonderful time interacting with the lambs, asking thoughtful questions and even having the chance to bottle feed them. It was such a special experience and a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature.
This visit linked perfectly with our Science learning about placental mammals, bringing our learning to life in such a meaningful way. The children showed kindness, curiosity and great respect to our visitors throughout.

Whitchurch Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society are bringing their exciting production of Legally Blonde Junior to the stage next week at Sir John Talbot’s School, and it promises to be a brilliant show 🌟

🎶 What an incredible day bringing our Trust together through music!
It was fantastic to welcome 150 singers from Marches Academy Trust schools to St Oswald’s, Oswestry for an inspiring African Gospel Singing workshop. A huge thank you to all the children who joined us – you were all absolutely brilliant! 🌟
The energy in the room was amazing, with children not only enjoying a wide range of songs but also learning about their meaning and importance within African culture. The atmosphere was full of joy, confidence and celebration, with everyone encouraged to take part and express themselves.
We also loved hearing this reflection from Emily:
“We really enjoyed yesterday. We got to sing all sorts of different songs and learnt about what the songs actually mean to African culture. The people were very full of life and so was the crowd. You didn’t have to feel embarrassed to have a good time. Me and my friend even got a special shout out for our effort and interest in the event. It was genuinely a great experience and I would 100% go again.”
